THE PROBLEM: heavy metals such as arsenic, lead, iron and mercury contaminate water supplies and severely compromise the health of people drinking the water. Heavy metal filtration is expensive and a toxic waste is created from the filtration residue which only creates another health and environmental problem.
THE SOLUTION: A proprietary new filtration media has been developed that absorbs heavy metals out of water. Some of the contaminants removed include iron, arsenic, lead, mercury, cadmium, chromium, copper, nickel, silver, zinc and fluoride. The media has a unique capability to encapsulate contaminants into an inert, non-leachable, non-hazardous residue. The result is water free of heavy metal contamination as well as a completely safe and harmless by-product.
A CURE FOR TOXIC METAL CONTAMINATION
The following test results are from a project where the heavy metal media was used to treat mining waste water from the Mt. Carrington (Australia) tailings dam (US. Heavy metal and acidity levels are shown before and after treatment. All values are in mg/L (ppm).
